The Dutch Maritime Pilot’s Association, Loodswezen, has contracted Nautim to perform the engineering and project management of the midlife upgrade of the 2007-built SWATH pilot vessel Perseus.
After Nautim’s recent completion of the midlife upgrade of the pilot vessel Cetus, the company’s directive for this second upgrade project is to refit the Perseus to exactly the same configuration as her sister vessel. This is in terms of vessel performance as well as layout of equipment and controls.
“We are very happy to have won another major contract from Loodswezen – it is a sign that they were happy with our work on the Cetus,” commented Nautim Director Vincent de Jong. “We are looking forward to getting started with this project; our aim is to finish it before the end of the year.”
